It’s with the Committee!
PinGirlThe most dreaded word in the custom pin world is “Committee”. Have you ever worked in a committee? We all have, whether at work, church, school or wherever– committees abound as decision making forces. When we hear committee we shelve the project knowing it will be weeks before a decision is made. TENNIS ANYONE?
PinGirlThis week with all the warm weather my mind has clearly been on sports, exercise, running and all that good stuff that I can now start doing outdoors. Remember I live in Utah – not sunny California or Florida or any other state that boasts sun year round. When it gets to 50 degrees – the shorts come out. 5 MINUTE MILE
PinGirlHow fast is fast?
Now I don’t really think of myself as a runner but think I am in good enough shape that I can run a 5K and still be breathing when I finish. I may not be the fastest but I am not the slowest either – thank goodness. In fact I would say I feel pretty good about myself in the couple of neighborhood races I have run – ok, yes they were just neighborhood races against other so called runners whose ideas of training is walking to the race that day. What in the World does it mean to Acclimate?
PinGirlAs you have so often heard, my parents are building a new house. It is almost finished – I am so glad because I am tired of going out to the house and not being able to stay there and enjoy it. But in all my frustrations (ok I really haven’t had any frustrations – its just all about me so I had to say that) I actually have learned a lot from this building experience.
