Life is like a box of chocolates

A few of my neighbors have invented a new parlor game.  I’m not sure why, it really has no application to anything, but they enjoy playing it and I usually get a kick out of watching them play it.  Their game is called “Life Is Like…”.  It involves one boy saying the phrase: “Life is like ______” (filling in the blank with something random, of course) and the other boys explaining why life is like such an object or idea.  Their latest one was “Life is like a wiener dog.”  I don’t remember why life is like that, but you can imagine. I recently started a new semester at school.  This is a good thing.  Know why?  Because at the beginning of a new semester the school puts on multiple events as a way to welcome all us students back into classes, and at each of these events there is the wonderful thing called free food.  Free food is a college student’s best friend.  I bet you’d be surprised with any college student’s amazing ability to eat for an entire week without having anything edible in their cupboards… or maybe not, you were probably there once too.  Continue reading “Free To Do Anything You Choose” »

Recently I went jean shopping with a couple of friends.  I hate jean shopping.  There are so many choices available for girls that it makes something that should take a very short time, or that I want to take a very short time, take hours on end.  For instance, there’s skinny jeans, bootcut jeans, flare jeans, boyfriend cut jeans, dark wash, light wash, etc., etc.  The hardest part is deciding which style is correct for you.
