Once Upon A Time…

I was recently introduced to the show ‘Once Upon A Time’.  The basis of the show is that of fairytale creatures being banished to the modern world where there are no happily ever afters (think ‘Enchanted’).  They have no memory of their fairytale life, and it’s up to one woman to save them all.  It’s only natural that I would love this show when you consider that, number one, it’s based on fairytales, Prince Charming and happily ever after, and number two, I’m a girl who loves all those things separately, hence there’s even more reason to love when they’re all combined. So Long, Put Your Blue Jeans Back On

Recently I went jean shopping with a couple of friends.  I hate jean shopping.  There are so many choices available for girls that it makes something that should take a very short time, or that I want to take a very short time, take hours on end.  For instance, there’s skinny jeans, bootcut jeans, flare jeans, boyfriend cut jeans, dark wash, light wash, etc., etc.  The hardest part is deciding which style is correct for you. The Wheels On The Bus Go Round And Round

This semester of college I have some early classes.  I am not necessarily a morning person.  For me, anything I can do to postpone waking up is a good thing.  As such, I’ve become accustomed to riding the bus up to campus as opposed to walking in order to squeeze in as much sleep as I can each morning (also, it’s cold).  There’s one major downside to this plan, however:  Everyone else has the exact same idea.  And the buses are only so big.  So what is usually heard is this: “Everybody squeeze on back.  Continue reading “The Wheels On The Bus Go Round And Round” »

If Ordering Pins Were Easy, It Wouldn’t Be Hard… Oh Wait.

When I accepted this job I was given the task of designing a brilliant, creative, cartoon version of myself in order to show you I’m a real person.  I figured it couldn’t be that difficult, after all I am a brilliant, creative person (sarcasm).  But, after several failed attempts, a few thoughts of “I don’t even need a picture!  and maybe just a little bit of crying, we finally worked this one out.  However, as you can tell, the process of actually creating it was a lot more difficult and painful than I wished it to be.  Continue reading “If Ordering Pins Were Easy, It Wouldn’t Be Hard… Oh Wait.” »
